The election results from the Chicago region are on stage for April Rennen-NBC Chicago

The voters in numerous communities from the Chicago region went to surveys on Tuesday evening and provided decisive results in communities such as Dolton and Aurora.

The main elections will set the prerequisites for the consolidated elections that will take place on Tuesday, April 1st. According to Illinois Board of Elections around March 17, early coordination in most jurisdiction begins in the region.

In Suburban Dolton, the trustee Jason House declared the victory over competitive mayor Tiffany Henyard, who reported more than 3,300 votes with all 17 districts of the city on Tuesday evening.

Jason House spoke to Regina Waldroup from NBC Chicago after declaring the victory against the Mayor Tiffany Henyard in Dolton's primary elections.

“We have four years of intimidation, four years of failure, and tonight is a new day for the city of Dolton,” said House at a victory party. “The community spoke loudly and clearly tonight.”

The house had previously been an ally of Henyard, but has since become one of her toughest critics in the village regulation. He will now be exposed to the independent candidate Casundra Hopson-Jordan in the consolidated election on April 1.

Kiana Belcher, Brittney Norwood and Ed Steave won victories in the main races for village administrators, while Alison Key won the primary school for the village writer.

A complete summary of Cook County election results can be found on the district clerk's website.

In Suburban Aurora, the reigning mayor Richard Irvin seems to take a step towards a third term, since he will probably be one of the two best voices in the race, together with the challenger John Laesch.

Between Dupage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties, Irvin held a close lead over Laesch, and the duo seems to have been drawn to a showdown in the consolidated election on April 1st.

Elsewhere in Cook County, the mayor of Calumet City, Thaddeus Jones, seems to go to a main victory over James Patton. The mayor of Berwyn, Robert Lovero, had a lead in front of two challengers in an impartial elementary school, and the mayor of Cicero, Larry Dominick, had a lead of just more than 1,000 votes, all of which are two districts.

In Lake County, the former mayor of Waukegan, Sam Cunningham, won a victory in the area code of the Democratic Party in this race and was able to take over the former ALD. Harold Perlling in the consolidated elections.

The mayor of North Chicago, Leon Rockingham Jr., also won against Kenneth Smith in primary school.

The results of the Lake County district can be found here.

Now every attention will be relocated to the consolidated election on April 1, which contains voices in more communities at the local level, with school authorities and parking areas also part of this voice.

Several municipalities will also have referendums on the ballot later in spring, and NBC Chicago will offer full reporting on the choice if an early vote begins in the coming weeks.
