The examination closes temporarily busy uptown crossing – WSOC TV

Charlotte-after an “incident” in Uptown Charlotte in the early Tuesday morning, an “incident” was in progress, the police department of Charlotte-Mecklenburg said.

Our Channel 9 photographer was on the scene in the East Third Street and in John Belk Freeway on the I-277 at 6:30 a.m.

CMPD said the area was temporarily closed, while the officials were “investigations and incidents”. Mark Taylor, the traffic team 9, said the intersection was reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m.

A person was transported with life -threatening injuries according to Novant Presbyterian, said Medic.

Channel 9 discovered several CMPD patrol cars on site.
