The family of the San Antonio family mourns son, who was shot at Selma

Selma, Texas -The parents of 20-year-old Hayden Lee Holt said that they are still shocked after being shot on Sunday.

“It just doesn't seem real,” said Joanna Holt, his mother. “I hear the door open. I think it could be. “

On Sunday, February 23, her son was shot in Selma after a robbery. Hayden's parents said that at the wrong time he was in the wrong place with the wrong people.

“He was not a violent person,” said Carlos Holt, his father. “It was never and was never.”

Joanna and Carlos said that Sunday like everyone else started. They said Hayden had plans to drive through the city with a friend.

A safety material from her home shows that he left in the early afternoon, but he never returned home.

An arrest order from Roberto Monreal, 17, told the police that he had hung around with Hayden this Sunday.

While they were together, the affidavit states that an unexpected teenager called Monreal and asked for one trip.

According to an affidavit, Monreal said that the unimaginated teenager had a robbery for Dorian Camarillo (17) and Eric Sepeda, 17. The authorities believe that these suspects that are intended to steal a firearm.

All five teenagers, including Hayden, drove to Selma to meet someone named Joseph Harris. However, when they arrived, things didn't go as planned.

The police said more than 30 shots were fired in the exchange, and one, according to the affidavit Hayden, was assumed that he was in the car all the time.

Carlos said he doesn't want this to happen to another family.

“Keep your children as close and as much communication as possible,” said Carlos. “I appreciate all the memories I had. The 20 years of memories I had. “

Until Friday, Monreal, Camarillo, Sepeda and the non -identified teenager stood in prison in prison.
