The family's house was saved from fire by quick action by first aiders

Bell County, Texas – a family in the central texas almost lost their home, but a quick reaction from first aiders made sure that their house was standing.

On Saturday at 5:15 a.m., Bell County's firefighter reacted to a fire to Cicero Drive in Bell County. The authorities stated that the homeowners had evacuated the house after they had a lightning strike on the roof and saw flames in the attic.

A 9-1-1 call was made, and Central Bell Fire & Rescue reported reportedly within three minutes.

The Sparta volunteer fire brigade and the Belton fire brigade arrived on site within six minutes.

The Bell County's office reported reportedly to secure the area as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.

The official fire in the Bell County brand was under control within 30 minutes.

The house was saved, but parts of the house, including the roof, were persistent fire and water damage. Firefighters believe that the house can be repaired.

Bell County's firefighter thanked the following first aiders for their efforts.
