The fire in Old Louisville in the early morning leaves two houses damaged

An investigation is underway after a fire was burned through two houses in Old Louisville early Saturday morning. Before 1:30 a.m., the Louisville fire brigade reacted to the 1200 block of the S Floyd Street for a report from two houses in which the crews arrived. All occupants were taken into account and no injuries were reported. A total of 35 firefighters reacted to the scene, and it took about an hour to control the fire.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., the Louisville fire brigade reacted to the 1200 block of the S Floyd Street to report two houses that are on fire.

When the crews arrived at the scene, they found that two occupied houses were completely devoured in flames.

It is unclear how many people were in the houses when the fire started, but LFD captain Donovan Sims said that all occupants were taken into account and no injuries were reported.

A total of 35 firefighters reacted to the scene, and it took about an hour to control the fire.
