The Florida Gateway College breaks the ground in the new family building

Lake City, Florida (WCJB) -The Grace & Al Harter Center for Innovation will be a state-of-the-art, two-story educational institution on the northwest side of the main campus of the FGC.

The first phase of the project comprises 10,000 square meters, consisting of two modern classrooms, two faculty offices and 10 care suites that employ the latest technology for science and medical simulation.

The first construction period is expected to be completed by autumn of this year.

Stem II is the predecessor of StEM I, a project from 2022 that the Quinn & Keith Leibfried Stem building born, which has been serving students in state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms and collaboration rooms for 3 years.

The reception begins at 11 a.m. in the nursing building (103) and the groundbreaking ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.
