The football association meets Pep Guardiola at FA Cup Match Ball complaints

A spokesman for the football association has fallen back down at Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola after his complaints about the Match Ball of the FA Cup.

The 54-year-old was very open about the differences between the Matchball of the FA Cup and the editions used in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

“Do you know how many recordings go about the contribution? All of them. Not only Ering (Haaland), look at the other games! You have to be so precise, and the ball sometimes does what it wants, ”said Guardiola after the 3-1 win against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday evening.

The Manager of Manchester City also called out: “The Champions League ball is exceptional, the Premier League ball is exceptional, but this is not good,” triggers the debate about social media through its comments.

With regard to Guardiola's complaints at the weekend, a spokesman for the football association said: “The Ultimax Pro Ball from Mitre, which was used in the Emirates FA Cup and all other FA competitions, was tested according to the FIFA tests.

“All footballs in the professional game have to meet the FIFA Quality Pro Accreditation, and this ball delivers against all test requirements.

“In addition to Miter, we understand that preference is subjective, but we are confident that the ball cuts off well. With over 350 goals in the previous KO competition, it offers an exciting element for such a competitive tournament. “

Manchester City will hope that despite their believing differences in the match ball quality, they can lead to a further appearance in the Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup with a quarter-finals against Bournemouth on the horizon.

This comes after success in the third round via Salford City, the fourth round to Leyton Orient and most recently in the fifth round against Plymouth Argyle of the championship.

Before the attention can return towards the FA Cup, Manchester City has two big encounters from the Premier League with which you can travel to Nottingham Forest this weekend before organizing the Etihad Stadium Brighton & Hove Albion.
