The former Tulane Green Wave soccer star has re-signed with Cincinnati Bengal

The former Tulane Green Wave Football Star Cam sample will continue his NFL career at the Cincinnati Bengals after signing a one-year contract on Thursday.

After four seasons, the rehearsal in the NFL was an unrestricted free agent. But he missed the entire last season with a torn Achilles tendon that was his last season under Rookie contract. By re -signing with Cincinnati, he stays with the team, which gave him a shot on the consistent playing time in his first three seasons.

Sample, a defensive end, was a consistent rotation list for the Bengals in his first three seasons when he played as a rookie in 14 games as a rookie in 2021, 16 in 2022 and all 17 in 2023. He started three competitions.

He has 68 combined duels, including 44 solo shots, with six duels against losses and 20 quarterback hits. He also has five career bags.

While he didn't play much his rookie season, he had an unforgettable campaign when he lost to the Super Bowl LVI with the Bengals, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams, 23-20.

Last year he was an all-American Athletic Conference Performer when he ended his final year with 52 duels, 7.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He helped to lay the foundations for the teams who win the AAC title in 2022 and reach the ACC title game 2023 and 2024.

The rehearsal was also the second and junior for Tulane constant contribution. The green wave originally recruited him from Snellville, Georgia, as a two-star player for the Shiloh High School.

The Green Wave has gone 32-10 in the last three seasons, including three direct trips to the AAC title game, an AAC title and a victory over the USC Trojans in the Cotton Bowl at the end of the 2022 season. This win is the fourth most frequent national.

Jon Sumrall took over the program in the last low season after the departure of Willie Fritz to Houston. Sumrall took exactly where Fritz stopped, and led the Green Wave to a 9: 5 season in his first campaign, finished second in the league classification and earned the AAC title against Army West Point Black Knights. Army won the title game.

Tulane is preparing for a season plan of 2025, which begins on August 30 when it is home to the Yulman Stadium Northwestern.
