The Haryana police lead in criminal tracking ranking

In 2024, the Haryana police secured first position ten times in the monthly rank of the Criminal and Criminal Tracking Network Systems (CCTNS) by the National Crime Records Bureau, the Interior Ministry of the Union, Sibash Kabiraj, director of State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB).

Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapur congratulated the entire CCTNS team on this performance. Sibash Kabiraj said the goal of developing CCTNS was to create a comprehensive and integrated system for crime examinations and to promote criminals.

Since Shatrujeet Kapur took over the DGP office in August 2023, several positive changes have been implemented in the SCRB to improve the technical skills and improve work processes.

As a result, the Haryana police have secured the first position in the monthly ranking of the NCRB in the past 17 months, he added.

He said the state police showed an excellent performance in various parameters in this monthly ranking of the center. In August and September 2024, the Haryana police secured third place nationwide with a score of 99.99 percent and achieved a perfect score in other months.
