The ICAO recognizes the efforts of Kazakhstan in the preliminary examination of Azal aircraft crash

Astana – Regional Director of the European and North Atlantic Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Nicolas Rallo, praised Kazakhstan and his investigation commission for a predecessor report On the Azerbaijan airlines (Azal), they fry the crash near Aktau in less than 1.5 months.

At a meeting on March 6 with the deputy prime minister Kanat Bozumbayev, Rallo asked to continue to ensure the full compliance with the convent on international civil aviation during the examination.

Bozumbayev thanked the ICAO for his continuous support for cooperation problems with Kazakhstan and for the timely use of independent Thormodur Thormodssons on the crash location.

He noticed that Kazakhstan concentrated on an objective and comprehensive examination from the first few days of the plane crash.

The final investigation report will be published by the end of this year in accordance with the Chicago Convention.
