The important leak prevention works in the Lavain Reservoir to start

The most important repair work begins in the Lavain Reservoir in the Astara District in Azerbaijan.

The service has initiated the necessary steps for these repairs. The repairs aim to prevent leaks in the reservoir. In this regard, the agency is currently looking for a company to do the work and is ready to assign ₼200,000 ($ 117,647) for the project.

It is worth noting that the Lavain Reservoir was commissioned in 1967 for the purpose of irrigation agricultural areas. The reservoir is fed by three sources: the rivers Ləvain, Sixaru and Digədi.
