The investigation of Taylorsville's theft ends with the suspect to overthrow another car

Taylorsville – An examination of the theft led to a man from the police fled, drove a red light and fell against another car on Wednesday evening.

SGT. Jacob Palmer from the Taylorsville police department announced KSL that a detective examined theft when he found the suspect in a white Dodge Ram in Salt Lake City.

Palmer said that the detective had tried a traffic stop at the RAM, but the driver fled. The police did not follow the ram and lost sight of it.

Taylorsville's police detectives in non -marked police vehicles searched the area and finally found the ram in a parking lot. Palmer said they asked the Ministry of Public Security helicopters for support to follow the RAM.

The RAM finally left the parking lot, and the Taylorsville police were able to address the tires of the truck at 700 W. 900 South to stop the suspect.


Palmer said that the ram continued to fled the police and detectives had not persecuted the suspect.

During the escape, the RAM left the 900 S. Main Street red light and fell into another car. The suspect's truck was placed on the side and hit the front of a bus in Utah Transit Authority.

Palmer said that the ram driver and his female passenger were brought to the hospital with minor injuries. The bystanders who were involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The man is admitted to Salt Lake County's prison after being cleared by the hospital.
