The latest game report – South Australia against Queensland, Sheffield Shield 2024, 28th game

Queensland 110 for 5 (Mcandrew 3-36) Trail South Australia 614 for December 7th (Mcinerney 142, Lehmann 130*, Carey 104, Sangha 67) of 504 runs

Sheffield Shield Leader South Australia has destroyed Queensland's hopes to achieve the final, and brought her advantage to Karen Rolton Oval.

After centuries to test the Wicketkeeper Alex Carey and Jake Lehmann, the home team explained on Sunday with an impressive 614 opening of the bowl Nathan Mcandrew and then tore through the top order of Queensland to leave the visitors in Tatters for 3.

Henry Thornton claimed the most important Wicket of Test No. 3 Marnus Labuschagne to tighten the problems of the bulls, and in stumps on the second day they were in great difficulties at 110 for 5.

Queensland started the last round in second place, but New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria have the same number of wins and less than five points separate the four teams on the ladder. Apart from a miracle in the next two days, Queensland appears from the title.

Sa took back on the fold with Carey and Lehmann on Sunday with a healthy 359 for 4. Carey scored his third sign of the summer and Lehmann scored his second in so many innings to paint the pain on Queensland.

When Carey was released for 104 out of 100 balls with 11 fours and two six, he and Lehmann recorded 175 for the fifth Wicket. Carey would have been frustrated to fall in Labusgnate's middle speed and reach a catch in the middle.

Lehmann did not end the 130 from 182 deliveries with 14 four after he had combined with Ben Manenti (49) and McANDREW (41) to further strengthen the imposing first inner rings from SA.

Queensland already had the worst possible start to her innings in Dire Straits when McANDREW had included in his first open laughie Hearne and Matt Renshaw LBW. He also removed Jake Clayton from the Wicket in the same way to end the day with 3 for 36.

Queensland still had the weak hope of a counterattack with a lab camp on the fold. But Thornton (2-32) had MANENTI captured him in the second slip for 23 before releasing Ben McDermott (35) by a shot covered by Carey with Skied Pull.

Jimmy Peirson and Michael Neser are the non -exhibited battery, and visitors are still more than 500 runs back to play with two days.
