The Lenexa police say no further investigations for suspects for double shots in which a woman was killed

Lenexa, Kan. (KCTV) – The Lenexa police authority said they no longer pursue suspects in a double shootout that took place on Wednesday evening.

The police said the 22-year-old sadie “Cayden” Riedel had been identified as the victim while a man stayed in the hospital. The Lenexa police said the man was in a serious state due to a gunshot wound.

“The male and the woman were known to each other and lived together in the apartment involved,” the police said in an update on Friday morning. “We are currently not looking for any other participants.”

The shootout occurred on Wednesday, February 26, in the 7600 block of the Halsey Street in the Meadows Apartment Homes. The police were sent to the area at 4 p.m.

In the preliminary phase of the investigation, the police announced that there was no evidence of an outstanding suspect. Now you have confirmed that faith will continue during the examination.

The Lenexa police said an investigation by the incident was not yet completed.
