He wrote: “If you are able to send a photo of you/your daughter or the mosaic, it would mean a lot to me. I will put it on my prison cell wall next to your letter.”
“Her daughter is blessed to have a mother who loves her so much and struggles so relentlessly for her,” he added.
At the beginning of February, Mangione published a public answer to the correspondence that he had received in the metropolitan detention center.
In his statement it was said: “I read everyone I get. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to write. I look forward to listening to more in the future.”
The 26-year-old accused the CEO of Unitedhealthcare, Brian Thompson, in front of a hotel in Manhattan in December, compared to 11 charges in New York, including the first degree “for promoting a terrorist act” and two cases of the second degree.
He has not guilty the state charges, but has not yet received an indictment for federal accusations. Mangione will be released on March 19 in front of a federal court, while his next hearing in the case of the state of New York is planned for June 26.
