The LSU basketball closes 2025 second plan in Kentucky

The LSU men's basketball team is taking his last road trip of the regular season in Lexington on Tuesday to face the Kentucky Wildcats in the Rupp Arena.

Shortly after 6 p.m., the Tigers and Wildcats will enter the call to the connected companies of the LSU Sports Radio Network (Garanty Media Baton Rouge Flagschiff Eagle 98.1 FM) shortly after 6 p.m. CT. Brian Custer and Daymeon Fishback will have the television call at ESPN2.

The Tigers have a defeat of 81-69 in the state of Mississippi in Mississippi on Saturday, in which the LSU led almost 20 minutes of playing time with some solid offensive services, which gave them a two-point advantage at half-time.

LSU. Although Corey Chest did not play and Vyctorius Miller injured one ankle for seven minutes, it also fought better on the boards and actually had an advantage of 15: 9 in points of the second chance.

Cam Carter had 18 points in the first half and ended with 23 for his seven game with 20 points in the second game. Daimion Collins scored 10 points and Derek Fountain, when he saw his first campaign in four games, was a perfect 4-von 4 of the field, including a three pointer for nine points.

“(We were) much better on the glass after they had four offensive rebound during the first media period,” said LSU trainer Matt McMahon after the game. “We were hit there on a few drives. Obviously, [Josh] Hubbard took over and dominated late. [Riley] Balle, I thought he had some amazing trips that find the streets and take them along the baseline to end the games. It really hurt. The Mississippi State plays offensive. I think we gave up seven three for 33 percent. They really converge on the ball and do a great job when raving. We really had to shoot three. We made nine for 25 percent, but it wasn't enough to win the game. “

The LSU also further improved its sales figures with a further setting -fluctuation game of nine against the Bulldogs.

“Ball security and rebound were (Saturday) significantly improved,” said coach McMahon. “We couldn't make enough shots in the second half and get enough stops.”

Kentucky put up a defeat of 94-78 against No. 1 Auburn in the Rupp Arena on Saturday and the wildcats are 19-10 and 8-8 in the second under the coach Mark Pope in the first year. Two players scored 20 points in this competition, with Koby Brea scored 21 points and Andrew Carr 20 scored. Otega oweh leads the wildcats a total of 16.1 points per game, while Jackson Robinson posts 13.0 per game. Lamont Butler scored an average of 12.3 points with Amari Williams 10.9 points and 8.6 rebounds.

The LSU returns to Baton Rouge for the last game of the regular season on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Maravich Center against Texas A&M. Before the game at 2:40 p.m., the Senior Tribe User Semony takes place to honor Carter, Jordan Sears, Dji Bailey, Trace Young and Derek Fountain.
