The majority of the ICE without papers have not prisoned a criminal record

Phoenix (Azfamilie) – ICE data show that the majority of the detained and deported have no criminal background.

A family who lives in Sunnyslope said one of their members who kept themselves out of difficulties with the law was arrested by ice outside of their house.

“Nobody has the feeling that they can leave their home. The children no longer play outside. We cannot live a normal life. Nothing is the same, ”said the man's sister who spoke to Arizona's family, but did not want to share her name or face.

She explained that the shift occurred a few weeks ago when her brother Eugenio was arrested by ice agents in front of his house. She explained that Eugenio saw a non -marked vehicle drove in the neighborhood and it happened to be ice cream.

“They asked him for a few other people and he said he knew nothing. An agent told him that they would take him instead, ”she said.

She said that more neighbors were arrested that day.

The Arizona family received a cell phone video in which a man of agents were arrested in tactical equipment. The man in the video and Eugenio are both represented by Sheree Wright, an immigration lawyer.

She said both customers had no criminal history and said their status did not make them criminals.

“You are not a criminal. They are just an immigrant. They are undocumented. That is a civilian punishment. This is not a federal crime, ”said Wright.

According to ICE data, there are 41,169 and documented immigrants in ice discovering facilities at the beginning of this month. More than half of them, 22,538, had no criminal records.

Wright is concerned that more undocumented immigrants are taken up without a criminal register, since the Trump administration exerts more pressure on ice to meet a quota.

The Washington Post reported that the President's government instructed the ICE agents to arrest 1,200 to 1,500 people a day.

The Trump government's border policy consultant, Tom Homan, was asked about this daily quota. He said that the information should not get out.

“If you escape an operation, this means that more bad guys are not arrested, which means that more bad guys go through the streets. If we deal with it, you will see the climb when the aperture opens beyond the criminals. You will see more arrests. I made it clear: If you are illegal in the country, you are not off the table, ”said Homan on February 6th.

The statistics also showed almost 12,000 immigrants in January, but this month the fears fell to around 4,600.

Eugenios family is restless in relation to these numbers and what other families will mean with the same immigration status.

“This deeply influenced the whole family. We never imagined going through something like that, ”said Eugenios sister.

The Arizona family received this statement from the Ice Phoenix Field Office when we contact a comment:

“Officials and representatives of the US immigration and customs authority are highly qualified and committed experts who are sworn to maintain the law, to protect the American people and to support the national security interests of the United States. As part of his routine operations, Ice of Aliens arrested the crimes and other people who violated the immigration laws of our nation. All extraterrestrials that violate the US immigration law can be arrested, detained and, if they are removed by the final arrangement, removed from the United States regardless of nationality.

“The US immigration and customs authority can meet US citizens while carrying out field work and apply for identification to determine the identity of a person. Each US immigration officer has the authority to question without an arrest warrant, and every extraterrestrial or a person who is assumed that they are an alien in the United States in relation to their right. “
