A 23-year-old man from Minneapolis owed himself guilty of murdering in connection with a second degree murder Deadly Edina shoot In December 2023.

According to court documents, Kayvon Madison And about a dozen other people celebrated a birthday in a restaurant in a shopping center on West 70th Street in Edina on the evening of December 2, 2023.

The shootout occurred in the parking lot when some of the festivals left.

The surveillance video supposedly shows Madison, the victim that was identified as an 23-year-old Jamal Roberson-and three other men who leave the restaurant and photograph in the parking lot. Witnesses said after the pictures that Madison claimed a dispute with Roberson by making comments on Roberson's deceased friend.

Madison allegedly showed the video five times. According to the complaint, Roberson died on site.

Madison is convicted for April 23.
