Lt. Ricky Porter says the negotiators tried to arise peacefully, but finally the Swat officials moved into the house. Neal fired at the police and they shot back.

Neal was shot several times and one of the balls he had fired, went through a wall and hit officer Kenyon Ford in his leg.

Officer Kenyan Ford has been in the department for five years. He was subjected to a successful operation and is expected to recover completely.

An arrest warrant in January 2024 states that Neal shot a weapon into a house and that a woman hit the neck. The shot left through the front of her face.

Winne received a court record from May 2024 from Fulton County, who shows that Neal received a bond for serious bodily harm, childcare and much more. It is unclear whether this is related to the previous incident.

Trend stories:

In July 2024, Neal was arrested after a traffic stop in Clayton County. He was charged with drug and gun ownership. A few weeks later, he received a bond of $ 21,000.

Lt. Porter says that there is still a lot to learn what led to the dirigs on Tuesday, but he says that the prosecution of Metro Atlanta Atlanta has to communicate better in order to get repeated perpetrators from the streets.

“We have to find a better way to communicate between the courts and the prisons and the binding agencies with each other so that we can prevent these citizens from being repeated or to allow new citizens to become victims of repeat offenders,” said Porter.

A Gofundme account was set up to help the recovery of Officer Ford.
