The man who was acquitted in ex-bonus shooting

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -A man from Südflorida, who was talked about his ex-fiscient, was not found guilty for a second time in a separate case.

Bridgette Knighton says she is planning to provide another injunction after the man who shot her eight times in May 2021 should go out of prison at all times.

“I say I'm not afraid, but I'm a person,” she said. “This is not an innocent man. He will do it again. “

Gayle Blount said in court that he acted in self -defense when he shot Knighton in an apartment complex in Miami Gardens.

A jury was not guilty on Valentine's Day.

Blount was then laid according to Broward County to file charges for an incident with domestic violence at a Denny's on Pines Boulevard. It happened in February 2021 and the police said that Blount was shouting at her when he grabbed her on one of the tables.

He was faced with charges of the offense and was not found guilty on Wednesday.

“I am sad that the system failed me,” said Knighton. “There are so many people who love and support me, but the system failed me.”

She still has the scars from the several shot wounds and fights to fight.

“I have already said that an injunction is just a piece of paper,” she said. “If he is stupid enough to come to me, it is really self -defense and not something I thought to save my life.”
