The men's basketball in Florida sneaks away with the victory in Tuscaloosa

No. 5 Florida Gators defeated on Wednesday in Tuscaloosa No. 7 Alabama with 99-94, the first time in the history of the men's basketball program, which won twice against a top 10 team in one season.

Alex Condon had 27 points and 10 rebounds, and Walter Clayton Jr. added 22 points and eight templates to help Florida (26-4, 13-4 seconds) to strengthen the NCAA tournament curriculum run to become a seed no. 1. The Gators are in second place in the SEC behind the regular season champion Auburn. The SEC tournament begins next week in Nashville, Tenn.

It was a battle back and forth all night. Florida was one point in front with 41-40. Condon has been playing an ankle injury with a feeling of urgency since returning and showing himself against the Crimson Tide. Condon ended the first half with 12 points, five rebounds and a block.

While Florida produced both aggressively and defensively, the Crimson Tide (23-7, 12-5) also fired all cylinders. Mark Sear's security guard ended the first half with 16 points, two rebounds and two assists. Sears ended the game with 30 points, six rebounds and five templates.

In the second half, Clayton Jr. supported the Condon with two dunks within one minute. The second put on the gators with less than eight minutes 12 minutes ago. Up to the last 90 seconds of the game, Alabama was unable to reduce the deficit below five points and never came into a single property.

Although Florida is badly wandered from the 3-point range, it was the free throwing out that closes the game. With a little more than a minute, the Crimson Tide had no choice but to double the Gator in the hope that they would miss their free throws. After the Gator shot 72.4% from the Freewurfl reach, it was exactly what they needed to add the 90-81 victory against No. 1 Auburn on February 8th in the state of Alabama.

However, no team can still rest. The Gators will organize the Ole Miss Rebels (21-9, 10-7) on Saturday at 6 p.m. (SEC Network, 103.7-fm). The rebels defeated 78-76 in the senior evening in Oxford No. 4.

For the crimson tide you have another huge game for you if you travel to “the jungle” to face your rivals the number 1 ranger-tiger. The tip is set for ESPN on Saturday for 2:30 p.m.
