The new Ryzen -9 processors from AMD are expected to start on March 12th and reveal leaks

The last round of AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs is scheduled to start this month – on March 12, to be precise. AMD teased the start date after a rather successful debut of the new processors on the CES 2025 in January. However, it never set a solid date and decided to just say at some point in the second quarter.

Thanks to LECKS, it looks like we finally have something firm. According to @Harukaze5719, AMD seems to start on March 12 for the start of its new Ryzen 9 9950x3d and 9900x3d CPUs. These two CPUs also have a somewhat higher price compared to previous releases – at least on the basis of the leaked Chinese MSRPs.

As Wccftech According to reports, the 9950x3d (approx. 772 US dollars) and 4599RMB (approx. 634 US dollars) for the 9900x3d are launched at a price of 5599 RMB (approx. 772 US dollar). Whether these prices remain or not, if we approach the start, remains to be seen – and the individual US prices could certainly be higher or lower. However, the prices should be something similar to the Ryzen 7 generation that started a few years ago.

The two new CPUs also offer the buyers a lot, since the AMD Ryzen 9 9900x3d 12 cores will contain, while the Ryzen has 9 9950 x 3D 16 cores. Both are expected to deliver a “leading” performance in the entire line and should keep pace with the latest Intel CPUs.

AMD also says that they are compatible with all AM5 chipsets, including the 600 and 800 series. Just like the CPUs available, if AMD brings it to the market, it remains to be seen, so we just have to wait.

However, if you were on the market for a new CPU, AMD has done a solid job in Intel's outperformance in Intel in recent years, so that the introduction of these two new CPUs is definitely a good opportunity to take up an improved CPU without affecting your performance.
