Iván Mauricio Arocha Arocha, Brusnelvis Adrián Cabrera GutiérrezPresent Ohaurys Rondón RiveroAnd Yaquelin Castillo García was released last Thursday.

The Cuban regime insists that these releases are part of a process of prison services that are subject to strict conditions. The Vice President of the Supreme Court, Maricela Sosa Ravelo, made it clear that these are not amnesties and that those who were released could be returned to prison if they did not meet the requirements of “good behavior”.

In a state television program, moderator Humberto López confirmed that releases can be revoked and activists can be accused of encouraging those who challenge the conditions imposed. The official discourse increases the warning that those who do not comply with the imposed restrictions could be incarated again.
