The Paczki Day is already in progress with Ypsilantis Dom Bakeries

Ypsilanti, Mi-Am Tuesday conquered a Polish, pre-injured tradition of Michigan by storm.

It has already started in Ypsi.

The bakers from Dom Bakeries were tough to make six flavors of Paczki-Einen with jams or fighters filled fried delicacies for fat on Tuesday in the middle west as a Paczki day.

The bakery serves Paczki Puddard, apple, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and lemon taste.

For two days a year, Dom's becomes a Paczki business in which the owners Fea and Ly Chov and a team of employees work around the clock to satisfy the desire for customers nearby and far. Hundreds of Paczki filled the main exhibition case on Monday and replaced the award -winning selection of donuts and cakes.

“We started at 8 p.m. last night,” said Fea, when he emptied a deep mixing shell on the counter and began to form dough balls. “We make 60, 70 pockets for over two days [of flour]. “”

Paul Chov, the owner's son, says that the bakery sells more than 15,000 Paczki every year. In recent years, they have done and sold the pre-lente delicacies both on Monday and on fat Tuesday to keep up with the demand.

Paczki each cost 3.25 $ 37 per dozen. They are available for the first time on the basis, but customers can call in advance to reserve orders of three dozen or more.
