The Pakistan origin cricket player dies after collapsing on the field during the club game in Australia

Junaid Zafar Khan, a Pakistani cricket player at the club level, died after collapsing in extreme heat during a local game at Concordia College in Adelaide.

“We are deeply sad about the death of an estimated member of the old Concordian Cricket Club, who today suffered a medical episode to a tragic scale,” said Khan's Club in a statement.

“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts by paramedics, he did not survive.

According to reports, Khan moved to Adelaide from Pakistan in 2013 to work in the IT industry.
