The photographer combines with the Boston couple after spontaneously taking viral proposal

A now viral photo was taken in for an instinct where a Boston photographer received on Saturday afternoon. “I heard that people start cheering, and when they are a photographer, they somehow know what that means when you see a couple,” said professional photographer Becca Thompson. “And I turned around and he was on a knee down.” Thompson says she is traveling with a photo shoot when she is supposed to turn around. She saw Ben McCormick on a knee and suggested his now lost Isabelle Girard. “I have had a ring ready for around December,” said Girard. He said he planned to ask the question in Boston's legendary Acorn Street for months. Girard even arranged that his brother was hiding behind a tree and was ready to record a video of the proposal. Unknown to him, Thompson was also nearby and snapped with her camera. “It turned out that someone who was ready to take a few pictures for us,” said McCormick. “So it was pretty accidental.” Girard actually hoped that the proposal would be private and says she was surprised when she turned and waited a lot. She was even more surprised when she later found her special moment online. “I know that she didn't want a great public proposal, so I avoided the community,” said McCormick. “Too late for that! Too late. Now it's public.” Social media went crazy, and some even said that the photo had been staged. “Absolutely not,” said Girard. “At that moment she was there, real place, real time and could capture it for us because they are really open.” Thompson was just thrilled to be in the right place at the right time. “Congratulations and frankly, I have to be there for everyone that day,” said Thompson.

“I heard that people start cheering, and when they are a photographer, they somehow know what that means when you see a couple,” said professional photographer Becca Thompson. “And I turned around and he was on a knee down.”

Thompson says she was on the road with a photo shoot when something told her that she should turn around.

She saw Ben McCormick on a knee and suggested his engagement to Isabelle Girard.

The social media went crazy, and some even said that the photo had been staged.

“Absolutely not,” said Girard. “At that moment she was there, real place, real time and could capture it for us because they are really open.”

“There was a lot of good reaction of it and it is something we will always remember, so it's welcome,” said McCormick.

Thompson was only enthusiastic to be in the right place at the right time.

“Congratulations and honestly glad that I had to be there for each of them that day,” said Thompson.

McCormick and Girard say that they don't have any wedding plans yet, but after seeing Thompson's work, they say that they may set them for professional photos.
