The police are looking for tips on the man's death, woman in the Detroit Home basement

The Detroit police continue to ask the public for help to find suspects in a double murder that was reported last week on the city's west side.

On Monday, the officials also published the identity of the two victims: Dwayne Pinkston (60) and Barbara Jackson, 68.

The police also published photos of the victims.

“Detective hope that after seeing the pictures of the victims, the citizens can give information about what happened that day,” said official in an explanation.

According to the authorities, the bodies of Pinkston and Jackson were found on Tuesday around 5:25 p.m. in a house in the 8700 block of the Desoto Street near Wyoming and Fenkell Avenues.

Detroit police officers said on Tuesday that they had no new updates of the investigation.

Last week the police said that a woman reported that he had found the bodies in the basement of her house.

She told an officer that she had left the house for about an hour and found her door closed when she came back. According to the authorities, she entered the house through a window.

Once inside, she found the body of a stranger at the end of the steps to the basement.

The police said they had examined and found another body in the basement.
