The police closed the alleged “Nazi commentary of the council member”

A police examination of a suspected incident in which a city council in a group of women who had a silent vigil, “Nazis” shouted was dropped.

Charlie Caine, who represents the Green Party in the Norwich City Council, was exhibited by the Norfolk police.

The organizers of a vigil for Afghan women claimed that the city council shouted at an event to support Afghan women on February 1 and described them as “Nazis” and “Transhobes”.

The city council, who is a transgender man, has been contacted by the BBC for a comment, but has not yet to react.

A spokeswoman for the police in Norfolk told The local democracy reporting service: “Officials gave advice from a person and the examination is now being closed.”

Members of the Norwich Women's Rights Group and the Women's Rights Network Norfolk were at the vigil.

The groups believed that the alleged comment was made because they had previously expressed concerns about the alleged effects of “trans ideology” on women and girls.

However, they emphasized that the vigil that was held outside the forum did not be related to trans problems.

The city council has publicly rejected the groups in the past.

A spokesman for the Green Party previously said: “We can confirm that this matter was referred to the Green Party and is checked in accordance with the process.

“We cannot comment on individual disciplinary cases.”
