The shootout occurred in January during a traffic stop on State Road 14 near the line of the Pulaski district.

Clinton County, Indiana – 13News gets our first glance at Bodycam video, in which a deputy shooting of a sheriff from Indiana kills a suspect during a traffic freeze.

The State Police of Indiana submitted their investigation to the Clinton County public prosecutor for independent review.

The prosecutors found that the acts of the deputy were justified.

It happened in January when the MP tried not to overtake a van in State Road 14.

The investigators said the officials believed that the 42-year-old Matthew Huttle was accelerated. They say that the deputy tried to arrest Huttle about habitual violations of traffic. Huttle ran back to the van and seemed to grab something.

The video shows Huttle to turn itself. Then the deputy shot several shots and killed Huttle.

The investigators said they had found a loaded pistol and additional ammunition in the van.

This was only a few days after Huttle was pardoned by President Donald Trump for an offense in connection with the uprising on January 6, 2021 on the Capitol Hill.
