The publication date of Spider-Man 4 is drawn in a minor delay

Sony delayed the next Tom Holland Spider-Man film, but it is as light and tactical as possible.

Spider-Man 4 was introduced for publication on July 24, 2026, but was postponed to July 31, according to Variety.

Why only postpone it for a week? The short duration of the delay suggests that this can be attributed to pure tactics, not on a production delay.

Christopher Nolan's Odyssey will be released on July 17, just a week before the first publication date for Spidey. This new timing gives Spider-Man 4 a little more space to breathe.

While the two films may not have a 100% overlap in the audience's make-up, they both do Star Tom Holland. It is expected that he will either play a young odysseus or his son Telemachus in the Nolan film, although the casting does not yet have to be announced. You could be fed up when the summer of 2026 is finished.

The two films are also first -class IMAX publications. And although the two -week gap is still not ideal, it is certainly better than a one -week pile.

Spider-Man against the Odyssey

Nolans The Odyssey will be included using IMAX cameras, while Spider-Man 4 is only an obvious contender on the largest screen that you can find.

When the film arrives, Tom Holland has been playing the Spider-Man on the screen for a decade-he appeared for the first time in Captain America: Civil War from 2016.

So far we know very little about Spider-Man 4. At the chat show Circuit last year, Holland confirmed that he and his fiance Zendaya are on board, but Sony does not let any details slip the story, or against the Spider-Man, the next step is Times around.

However, the stuff could still be in the air to a certain extent, since the film should only start filming in summer.

In the meantime, it is assumed that the filming for the Odyssey has already started, the filming in Morocco, Italy and Great Britain.
