The puppy is completely recovering from Moscow Fire

According to the WSU, Yuna was expected to be in a ventilator for an additional week, but she started breathing alone in 48 hours.

Pullman, Wash. – A puppy is expected to make a complete recovery after a fire in Moscow, which led to the puppy fought for his life on a ventilator.

According to the Washington State University, a 5 -month -old Pitbull named Yuna suffered a heavy smoke in Moscow, Idaho, and was rushed into the veterinary teaching hospital of the Washington State University.

Two of the family cats also died in the fire and another was treated for minor injuries.

Yuna was found in the basement of the house by two firefighters. Yuna was provided with oxygen treatment on site.

According to the WSU, Yuna was expected to be in a ventilator for an additional week, but she started breathing alone in 48 hours. Yuna was released from the hospital on Sunday.

“I can thank the firefighters in Moscow or the veterinarians or someone who has supported us enough financially, emotionally or physically. I will thank you for the rest of my life. Things can be treated and replaced and our house can be rebuilt. I am only grateful for the fact that I have my husband and daughter and at least two of our animals, ”said Renae Shrum, who recently adopted Yuna.

Brian Nickerson, fire chief of Moscow, said that the department examines the costs for potentially installing oxygen masks for pets on every truck.

The family founded a gofundme to pay Yuna's veterinary calculation. The WSU paid part of the invoice in the Good Samaritan find of the WSU.
