Indianapolis, in the fourth quarter of the fourth quarter on January 24, the Indiana women's basketball used its execution compared to the Oregon Ducks in the 78-62 victory of the Hoosiers in the second round of the 2025 Big Ten tournament.

From the moment the ball tipped, the Hoosiers were the attackers. Before the first media time crossing, Indiana was 15-4. This was thanks to the defense of the Hoosiers, which turned the ducks seven times, which led to 13 Indiana points.

Throwing several bodies in Oregon's Post player enabled the Junior Guard Shay Ciezki to control the ball and get great swing on the offensive. In the first quarter, Ciezki scored 11 points on 3-against-4 shootings from beyond the arch.

“We just threw the first blow straight out of the goal and never let it go,” said Guard Sydney Parrish.

Although Indiana led the game-to-wire wire wire, he allowed the ducks to stay in the shooting course in the second and third quarter because they stained the main core of the Ducks. Yardgen Garzon, Lilly Meister and Karoline Striplin had three fouls before half -time.

The Ducks made a five-point game with 43 seconds in the third quarter in front of a jum from Sarah Rambus in Oregon. However, Garzon's 3-pointer with 23 seconds in the frame showed how much difference Indiana's shootout was on Thursday. Garzon led all the scorers with 18 points, and Ciezki was close to it at 17.

The Hoosiers shot 11: 25 from beyond the arch, which improved their record to 9: 0 when they made 10 or more 3s.

“I thought they were probably,” said Kelly Graves, head coach of Oregon. “We never really made her uncomfortable. From the beginning they go 5 out of 10 in the first quarter, and that really indicated the tone. ”

Another factor that made it possible for the Hoosiers to be successful in this game was that their bank was great in this game. Although it did not appear on the statistics sheet, the striker of Freshman, Faith Wiseman, played the most important minutes to help Indiana win. Wisemans 10 minutes were more than she played in the last two months of the season.

“I think she was a little scared at first, but she took out, recovered, had two charges,” said Parrish. “It was a crucial part of our victory today, especially because Oregon's interior is so large.”

With the No. 1 seed USC the next noon on Friday, Indiana has to play its best side and all contribute to it.

“Don't put them on the line,” said Indiana head coach Teri Moren. “You have to earn everything.”
