The renowned artist Freddie Styles loses home, works of art in the devastating fire from Atlanta

Freddie Styles, a celebrated abstract artist, whose work in US messages around the world was presented, experienced a devastating fire in his house in the Candler Road in the southeast of Atlanta.

Styles has lived in this house since 2013 and not only housed his personal things, but also his own works of art and pieces, which he had collected from other artists.

What we know:

The fire broke out last Friday afternoon, while Styles worked on a painting for a customer. For the first time he noticed that something was wrong when he smelled something strange. During the examination, he saw smoke and flames and prompted him to evacuate quickly. “A bent very hot air hit me in the face and sang a little of my hair on the side,” said Styles. He hardly managed in time and found that he hadn't survived if he had gone up again to save his $ 6,000 cash. A passerby called 911, but until then the flames had already consumed most of his house. Styles described the experience as scary and said: “My house has just burned down and I have lost years of my life.”

What we don't know:

The cause of the fire is still examined and leaves many questions unanswered about how the fire started and whether this could have been prevented.
