The Rockford man was charged in June to wounded two MPs Blount Co.

Ronald Reed Millsaps, 60, is recorded in the Blount County prison. He faces an indictment against 17.

A man from Rockford is suspended against 17 in the Blount County Court, who accuses him of murdering two MPs and endangering the lives of numerous neighbors, while they fell out scores of shots in a confrontation in June.

The 60 -year -old Ronald Reed Millsaps is recorded in the Blount County prison instead of a bond of 750,000 US dollars, as recorded.

A Grand jury from Blount County on Monday gave the indictment against him.

On June 11, 2024, the MPs from Blount County Corbin Smith and Edward Walker responded to a report on a domestic argument in the normally quiet Jacob Springs Boulevard district, in which Millsaps lived with his mother Joy.

Millsaps fired a flood of shots from the house, the authorities claim. The MPs decreased behind a vehicle; Millsaps continued to fire. Both men suffered gunshot wounds and later recovered.

The sheriff of Blount County, James Berrong, said at the time when millsaps were fired at least 100 times. The TBI said the investigators found more than 220 shells at the scene.

The counts against MillSaps include an attempted murder, in particular the difficult kidnapping, the serious physical injury, the ruthless threat and the vandalism of the office of a sheriff.

Among his alleged crimes: limit his mother in the house while he is armed. Joy Millsaps died later this month. When he sprayed shots from his house on the other side of the street, he put others in danger and beat some of her houses, claims documents.

He will be in court in front of the Blount County Circuit Court.
