The schedule does not make the Blackhawks favors before the end of the trade

Blackhawks fans who longed for chicago to be on the ice during the face-off of the 4 nations (increase your hand when you are … please …) March 7th fulfilled their games.

And it is not stacked as a light route of 11 days for the Blackhawks.

The Blackhawks start a three-game road trip this evening, which has them in Utah, Vegas (Thursday) and Anaheim (Saturday). You will then return to Chicago for three games in five days – including a home game on the deadline, against Utah (again). The Blackhawks organize Los Angeles on Monday evening and Ottawa on Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday, three of the five teams play the Blackhawks between now and the deadline in a playoff place. Ottawa holds the second game card in the Eastern Conference, while Vegas and LA are among the top three of the Pacific Division.

Anaheim is six games from Vancouver for the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, but they are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. Utah is one of the three teams between the ducks and Canucks in the Wild Card classification. They are four points back from Vancouver and the Canucks have a game in their hands.

The game between Utah and the Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. CT on March 7th could be wild if both teams are active before the afternoon trade closed. The Hawks departed on a road trip with four games immediately after this game and starting in Nashville the following night.
