Michael J. Fleming from Lancaster allegedly broken into the business with James Angelo Campitelli with James Angelo Campitelli in December.

A suspected accomplice in the break -in of copper at an abandoned shop in Hilltown Township in December has a preliminary hearing for Tuesday, which is charged with four crimes and six offenses in the incident.

Michael J. The police said that a backpack he was wearing contained an orange pill bottle with several small yellow pills, a purple tube with an orange needle, a purple tube with alleged marijuana, a small glass with a white gap and several electrical objects.

A search for the building was carried out and several power tools and copper wire pieces were found, the police said. In front of a garage gate of one of the outbuilding on the property, a Milwauee knife with a red handle was found, the police said.

The police said Campitelli admitted to being in the building with fleming to remove copper wire from lines together with other valuable metals that they wanted to sell in scrap sites.

He told the police that he had lost his knife outside of one of the buildings while searching buildings to determine where the underground electrical cables led.

On January 10, Campitelli remained guilty of stealing the theft of retail in August 2024 in Hatfield Township, in which he received two -year probation as a punishment on January 10 according to the court filing.
