A 15-year-old who was shot and critically injured after a shootout near the Columbia shopping center was declared dead, according to Howard County Police.

The police said that Blake McCray, 15, and 16-year-old Michael Robertson, were in a bus loop outside of Lidl on February 22 when they were targeted by 18-year-old Emmetetson Zeah during a double shootout.

Robertson died of serious injuries that night, while McCray was brought into the shock trauma center of the University of Maryland after the shot.

Zeah was detained with an ankle monitor for an independent crime at the time of the shootout.

According to the police, Zeah will also be charged on February 14th because of a shootout in Columbia. No injuries were reported, but envelope houses were found at the scene.

Robertson was one Student in the second year at the Wildte Lake High SchoolAccording to the headmaster. McCray was a newcomer to the Oakland Mills High School, confirmed the school's headmaster.
