The shooting of Smoketown Jackson Jackson leaves the 70-year-old man dead

A man was found dead after being shot in the neighborhood of Smoketown Jackson on Saturday, and a suspect is custody, according to Louisville Metro Police. According to 11 a.m., the officials of the fourth division of LMPD reacted to the report on a shootout in the 700 block of the South Preston Street. He was declared dead at the crime scene. In the early Saturday afternoon and witnesses of several police officers from Louisville U -Bahn outside of a house with pulled weapons. They said he fled the scene into the house after shooting. Police said they believe that they have taken into account all parties in the incident. However, detective continues to examine the circumstances of the shootout, and additional updates are made available if further information is available. LMPD asks someone with further information about the case to report. Shortly after 11 a.m., LMPD Fourth Division Officers reacted to the report on a shootout in the 700 block of the South Preston Street.

When they arrived there, the officers found a 70-year-old Michael Evans who suffered from a fatal gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the crime scene.

LMPD said her investigation had shown that a man who was of interest in the shootout had gone in a house near the place where the police found Evans.

The officials secured the house and demanded the support of the SWAT team from LMPD to clarify it.

This person was later identified as a 25-year-old Dakarai McDonald.

He was arrested and charged with a convicted criminal for murder and possession of a pistol.

Wlky had a crew at the scene early Saturday afternoon and was a witness to several police officers in Louisville, outside a house with pulled weapons.

LMPD Swat cleared the scene around 5 p.m. when the officials McDonald took custody.

The police said the surveillance video showed that McDonald was wearing a black hoodie and was wearing a pistol that went towards the shootout.

They said he fled into the house after shooting.

The police said they believe that they have taken into account all parties in the incident.

However, detective continues to examine the circumstances of the shootout, and additional updates are provided when further information is available.
