The shootout in Renton Transit Center is violated 1, suspicious in custody

Renton, Wash. – According to the Renton police, a person was admitted to the hospital after being shot in the Renton Transit Center.

Renton's police said the incident occurred around 4:26 p.m. and the victim was shot in the stomach.

“There was a shootout in the Renton Transit Center, and the King County's Sheriff was examined,” said Meeghan Black, spokesman for the Renton police department.

According to Renton Police, the victim was then brought to the HarborView Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect tried to flee from the scene by climbing into a bus, but didn't go far before going out. The officers were able to arrest the shooters shortly afterwards, the police confirmed.

“The scene is currently certain. This remains an open and active examination at the Sheriff of the King County,” wrote the KCSO in response to a como message examination. “We thank the Renton police department for their support.”

King County Metro is now leading the shootout.
