The smallest park in the world is one centimeter in the record book

A 2.5 square meter grass plot in Japan has caught the Guinness World Record for the smallest park.

The micropark room more than two New York Post-front side in Nagaizumi is about an hour from Tokyo and consists of a square base of bricks with an “entrance”, a “bank” with a seat in a grass and a few decorative stones.

The 372 square meter spot looks at all the boxes for a park, said Guinness and ends the 452 square meter mill in Oregon for the record.

“An employee went on vacation to the USA, [and] They found the previous record holder for the smallest park, ”said Shuji Koyama, team leader of the Nagaizumi Department of Tree. “So they wanted to create an even smaller park.”

According to Guinness, the park has become a draw for both visitors and locals that use the place “as a place to relax”.

Although Japanese retirement from 1988 ends, the city guides only decided that the city guides decided to see if they could make a record with them. So they brought a surveyor to officially measure the park to convince Guinness.

“We want to continue to preserve the park with the community and create a landscape that is social media fans so that even more people find attractions in our city,” said Koyama.
