The St. Johns Country Day secured the 14th regional title in a row, one step closer to the state title

Orange Park, Florida-Die St. Johns Country Day Lady Spartans secured her 14th regional championship in a row after defeating Christian Christian 7-0 last week.

The Lady Spartans are back in the last four and prepared for the game against Südflorida heat on Wednesday afternoon.

This program is not a stranger for success. From 2012 to 2022 the St. Johns Country Day won 11 consecutive state championships. Despite changes to the line -up, the team continued to find ways to win.

“This team is full of Grit – former senior veteran. They remained the course,” said head coach Mike Pickett.

“We rely on each other as a team. As a team, we all start shining together,” said Mia Johnson, Senior Center.

The 14-fold state champion will play in the state semi-finals in the Spec Martin Stadium in Deland. Kickoff puts against South Florida heat on February 19, February 19.
