The startup canvas is designed in such a way that you outline initial ideas for a business idea. It is also known as a one-sided business plan template for startups

According to Upmetrics, there is a certain restriction when writing a business plan, most people hate writing business plans. You take too long to write. In the end, they grasp the most answers. And the worst thing is that the people who make you write these plans (i.e. investors) do not even take the time to read them for shorter versions such as the 1-page summary of the executive, the 10-page grinding deck or the 30-second lift group.

The startup canvas solves this problem. It is a quick and easy way to write a business plan. It is a framework to define your startup easier and faster through value, problem, solution, market, team, marketing channels, customer segment, external risks and important performance indicators.

This is the step -for -step

1. Customer segment

We use a customer -oriented approach that we should start with the customer segment together with the problem with the customer segment. List your target customers and/or users.

1. Problem

For the customer segment, you work with the top 1-3 problems that you need to be solved.

2. Value promise

This is the most important section of your start model. The unique promise of value is a single, clear, convincing message that says why they are different and are worth buying.

3. Solution

The start -up screen that was taken over by Lean Canvas. Ash Maurya does not yet recommend define a solution completely. Simply sketch the top 3 functions that your product has.

3. Market

The market size is the most important factor for a startup to absorb the canvas. Is your market new, present or re -laid?

4. Canal

Is it worth building a product? It is just as important to find, build and test a considerable way to your customers from the first day. Describe marketing channels both inbound and outgoing strategies. This also includes price strategies.

5. Sales model

Turnover depends on your price strategy. Describe sources of income with a Breakeven point.

5. External risks

Briefly to the top 3 external risks.

6. Key power indicators

Important performance indicators (KPIS) are the elements of your plan that express what you want to achieve. For example, one of FinanzKPI sales growth is.

7. Team

List important members of your workforce. This includes founders, co -founders, partners, investors, consultants and other employees.

The startup screen is also mainly intended for the startup of the ideas phase and not for the lean startups, customers, consultants, investors or consultants. It has no specific implementation medium and you can use it first and then move to the lean canvas or into the whole species.
