The suspect arrested in fatal shootings in the Lemon Grove Park

Lemon Grove, California (KGTV) – A suspect was arrested in connection with a shootout in a Lemon Grove Park in which a man was dead.

Sheriff's official said that 26-year-old Andrew Gomez Cardona was detained on Thursday in a house in the 900 block of S. Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon.

Cardona was imprisoned because on February 23 during a discussion in Kunkel Park, he fatally shot at Anthony Trujillo. Details about how the incident developed became not immediately known.

The MPs who reacted to reports on an attack with a fatal weapon incident arrived in the park to find an injured Trujillo on the ground.

The deputies and paramedics performed Trujillo before being taken to the hospital.

The 51 -year -old Trujillo died after arriving in the hospital, according to the sheriff officer. The medical examiner's office said that the victim's cause of death was a shot on his neck.
