The suspect arrested in Oakland Freeway Shooting

Oakland – A suspect was arrested in Oakland in connection with a shootout on a motorway on Wednesday, the authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported south at 7:30 a.m. on the Interstate 880 north of the 16th Avenue. The victim was not injured and returned home.

The CHP then received the news that the suspect may have drove in the victim's neighborhood.

The police officers of Oakland were sent to the area where they parked the suspect's vehicle and not found it, the authorities said. They realized the car and finally recorded two people who entered the vehicle.

According to the CHP, one of the people, a 19-year-old Oakland man, was identified as a suspect at the shootout. He was arrested for suspected attempted murder and booked to the prison of Santa Rita.

The authorities said a loaded pistol, which was assumed that it had been used at the shootout, was found in the suspect's house.
