The suspect was wanted after you were injured when shooting outside of DC Dunkin 'Donuts

A man recovered in the hospital after being shot outside of a DC -Dunkin -Donut on Tuesday afternoon, and his family asks for help to catch the person responsible.

The 23-year-old victim was still cared for in the hospital on Wednesday evening.

What we know:

This shootout occurred in the Café in the 2300 Block of Washington Place, NE, around 1 p.m. on March 4.

An employee who does not want to be identified told us that the victim came into the Dunkin 'Donuts and suffer from several gunshot wounds.

The DC police say Fox 5 said that the suspect has opened the fire and shot Johnson outside a few times. The police found Johnson consciously and breathed and he was taken to the hospital.

On Wednesday, MPD released a monitoring picture of the suspect -dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt, which a backpack, black pants and Jordan shoes wore -up a escalator at a U -Bahn station.

Johnson's family hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and call the police.

The DC police offer a reward of up to 10,000 US dollars for information that in this case leads to an arrest and conviction.
