The Tampa jury hears final arguments in which the father is accused of shoting children

Jermaine Bass was charged with murder and tried to have murder in 2022 after shoting his five -year -old daughter and eight -year -old son. “The certificate and the evidence are parts of only one person if they are merged,” said the prosecutor.

An investigator with HCSO said it looked like five shots were fired.

“He didn't ask her to save her,” said the prosecutor. “He didn't ask her to help her. He said that nothing happened above.”

During the final declarations of the defense, however, Bass's lawyer said that the state's claim is not correct.

“Absolutely wrong,” said Bass' lawyer. “'Just please, please help my child.'”

Bass's lawyer said he could hear that these words say on the body camera material for the local deputies. When the MPs arrived the scene, they said that bass held his son, who was bleeding.

On Wednesday, the senior investigator testified in her investigations into laboratory tests.

During the final statements, the defense also stated that there were holes in the crime scene, the autopsy and other parts of this examination.

“The children lay down, but why do we have higher ball holes?” Said Bass' lawyer. “We don't know that.”

The jury informed the defense that in this case they cannot read between the lines. She said there is no evidence in the case of the state.
