In the process, it was claimed that Lehrmann raped in the office of the then Defense Minister Linda Reynolds Linda Reynolds, the former Liberal Party employees.

The criminal proceedings collapsed due to the misconduct of the juror without a judgment, and the former public prosecutor's board, Shane Drumgold, rejected it to re-accept persecution-but from concern about Higgins' health-demanded a public investigation, how the case was treated.

Since then, Lehrmann has been raped over the project as part of his defamation against Network and Lisa Wilkinson about an interview with Higgins.

The 'Sofronoff report'

The examination of the process followed the allegations of drumgold against Act Police, including the “a very clear campaign to put it under pressure”, not to pursue teachers and to deal with “inappropriate interference”.

Sofronoff was appointed to lead an investigation into Drumgold's allegations.

His final report, which was delivered to ACT Prime Minister Andrew Barr on July 31, 2023, found Drumgold “prey” inexperienced lawyers and acted in a way that was “grossly unethical”.

Within the same hour, Afronoff delivered its results to the act government, and wrote to the report Janet Albrechtsen, a conservative columnist in the Australian newspaper, the report.

Sofronoff also provided a copy of the report to the Elizabeth Byrne of the ABC.

The Australian published details on the final report on August 2, 2023 for days, after Albrechtsen Sofronoff said that she had received the report from another source.

The ABC published a story the following afternoon.

Sofronoff justifies the report to the two journalists to help them understand their content and report the results exactly when they were published.

But Act Integrity Commissioner Michael Adams KC rejected Asicronoff's explanation as “imaginative” and said his actions were a “serious injury”.

A supply of e -mails and text messages showed that Albrechtsen and Sofronoff had 273 interactions over the seven months of the teacher request, including 51 calls, text messages, e -mails and private lunch in Brisbane.

Other texts show that Sofronoff Albrechtsen sends “strictly confidential” documents.

The Supreme Court of ACT later found that Sobronoff's findings were influenced by the arrest of the distortion of Sofronoff's part.

The ACT Commission now said that this judgment “made the results against Mr. Drumgold legally invalid for the errors of responsibility”.

The current Attorney General Tara Cheyne, who was not in the role at the time of the committee of inquiry, said that Sofronoff's actions during and after the examination “an examination and this is why an examination was carried out”.

She added the results of the Act Commission, “Talk to itself how conclusive they are.
