Leavenworth, Kan. (KCTV) – A teacher in Leavenworth was taken into custody as an examination of his alleged indecent behavior in a minor.

The Leavenworth police authority, Kansas, said that on Tuesday, February 25, the law enforcement officers were involved in an investigation of the allegations that Jerome Riskovallez, 54, was involved in indecent behavior with a child.

The investigators stated that Riskvallet was taken into custody on Thursday at 1 p.m. He was charged with a child for severe indecent freedoms and is expected to appear in court on Friday.

Riskovallez was listed as a teacher at the Leaveworth Unified School District. KCTV5 has contacted district officials to determine his current employment status.
