The trailer leaks of the PowerPuff Girls live action series and show what the canceled show would have been

As early as 2023, a live action series with the adult PowerPuff Girls in the CW was canceled with the project after a number of reported problems. Now a new teaser video has appeared online, showing how the show could have been, and it is … interesting, said the least.

The video was made available on the YouTube channel “Lost Media Busters” this morning, but since then a copyright has been decreased by Warner Bros. Entertainment. The three-and-a-half-minute trailer creates the premise of the series: Blossom, blisters and butterflowers have grown to young adults and have at home, whereby Blossom (played by Chloe Bennet) is stressed and burned out, blowing (Dove Cameron) and Buttercup (Yana Perrult) and Expressing Dioctors and Express Fold.

In the trailer, the three accidentally kill a person named Mojo and flee Townsville before returning home years later to visit their father Professor Utonium (Donald Fais). There you will meet Mojo's grown -up son Jojo, who has become the mayor of Townsville, subjected the citizens to brainwashing and looking for revenge. The trailer is well-groomed with “nervous” humor, including bubbles that joy over Jugalos and butterflowers, which indicates that Jojo has a “hate drill” for flowering.

CW has confirmed the diversity that the film material is real, but this certain trailer was neither officially nor for the public perspective.

The live action power puff girl show was first reported in 2020, but can be canceled after a series of setbacks, including a “Miss” of a first pilot and the departure of Bennet from the project.

“The reason why they make pilots is sometimes that things miss, and this was just a miss,” said the chairman and CEO of CW, Mark Potlowitz from the pilot that was scraped at the time. “We fully believe in the cast. We believe in Diablo [Cody] and Heather [Regnier]The authors. We believe in the patronage of Greg Berlanti and Warner Studios. In this case, the pilot didn't work. But because we see that there are enough elements there, we wanted to record it again. So we didn't want to do what we had. Tonal, it might have felt a little too Kampy. In reality, it didn't feel as rooted as it would have felt. But here too you learn things when you test things. And so we felt a step back in this case and go back to the drawing board. “
