The trip from Dead Giraffe to Taxidermie becomes Viral in Michigan

A giraffe that drove in the back of a pickup became viral when the driver took a few photos behind the truck.

But as it turned out, the long -term animal, which drove down in a maccomb County, Michigan, in the north of Detroit, was already dead. However, this did not prevent this from being widespread on social media after it was posted by the Facebook page of MACAMB County Scanner.

“It is the tax season, so he must have spent his returns for a giraffe. I plan to buy a tank to drive around, ”wrote Macomb County's scanner in the comments.

“A real giraffe would not even be a month old in the back of a pickup,” wrote Ryan Derue.

“I want one that I ask how much this nasty boy was,” commented Rachel Zack.

Despite the many comments and stocks, the acquisition of the late giraffe was completely legal and was transported for taxidermy.

“My job is to keep them so that they can appreciate them forever,” Darren Wehner, who works in Algonac, Michigan, for St. Clair Flats Taxidermy, to WJBK TV in Detroit. “Some people may find it strange or different, but for me it's art.”

WJBK-TV also reported that Wehner is a great hunter and taxidermist with safari partnerships in South Africa and received the giraffe body from a zoo after the death of age.

Wehner added that he was commissioned to make a giraffe -berg, and according to his Facebook page it applies to a nameless Natural History Museum.
